My name is Herbie Liu, born and raised in Taiwan. For years I was trained to be a violinist until I came to the Netherlands in 2013 for my master's degree in linguistics at Universiteit Utrecht. My interest for massage appeared when I was inspired by a massage therapist in the orchestra. I realized that playing an instrument is just like doing sport as all the muscles in your body are involved and they both require high-level physical energy in order to stay 100% focused. After the massage session I felt unbelievably relaxed and could even play better with a balanced body. Ever since then I decided that if music didn't work out, I would pursue massage therapy as a career to help people.
